READING THE SOURCES CAREFULLY

Loose microscopy files: project attribution

Area 2 rfl.jpeg and Area 2 RGB overlay.jpeg visually match the optical field and analytical inset in Gujba poster Figure 2. Their placement under the Sahara explorer in the brief would misattribute the imagery. They are shown as Gujba-associated. Area 1 has no explicit sample metadata and remains provisional. The original filenames are retained in the asset inventory.

Sahara phase identification

The revised poster’s Figure 6 caption calls phase 4 likely clinoenstatite. The more detailed abstract assigns likely clinoenstatite to phase 2, with phase 4 interpreted as fine-grained pyroxene. The website follows the abstract and preserves this source discrepancy.

Elemental map identity

The loose file named Jaret_Sahara97037-FeAlMg.jpeg is not treated as an Fe/Ni/S map. The Fe/Ni/S viewer uses image6.png extracted from the revised poster, which explicitly supplies that legend. No separate elemental channels were supplied.

EPMA units

The abstract describes point-analysis “accelerating voltage of 40 nA,” which mixes voltage and current units. This is flagged rather than repeated as voltage. The separate mapping-methods paragraph correctly specifies 40 nA beam current, 15 ms dwell and 6 μm steps; those are the values shown here. Point-analysis accelerating voltage remains unconfirmed.

Magnesium specificity

The introductory slide deck describes a uniform vein Mg signal. The detailed abstract distinguishes three Mg regions and relative enrichment. These statements differ in specificity rather than necessarily contradicting one another; the website follows the detailed abstract.

Region-to-figure correspondence

The Gujba poster lists three research regions, but its figure captions do not explicitly link each image to a numbered region. The region explorer therefore labels its plots as contextual poster evidence. It does not manufacture three uniquely registered microscopy/map pairs.

Biography currency

The supplied résumé lists Kingsborough biology studies and several roles as “Present.” The website identifies these as résumé-recorded experience, without inferring current enrollment, graduation, GPA or a future degree. Dates for Sahara presentation context were not supplied.
